Project overview
Green Venture is a Cameroonian organic producer founded in 2018, based in Batchenga in the Centre Region. Across 21 hectares of farmland, the company grows more than 65 varieties of fruits, vegetables, citrus, starchy foods, tubers and processed products — and delivers them directly to homes in Batchenga, Yaoundé and Douala. MboaGeek designed and developed their complete e-commerce platform.
Project details
Green Venture wanted to break down the barriers between producer and consumer — without going through intermediaries. To do this, they needed an online store letting customers build their basket directly from the site, see which products are available by season, and place orders with home delivery. The site also had to highlight their organic approach and their partnerships with institutional clients such as Groupe Casino, SODICAM and AYOBA.
- Complete e-commerce site with a catalog of 65 products organized into 7 categories: vegetables, citrus, fruits, plantain, starchy foods, tubers, processed products
- Online cart system with a configurable minimum order (5,000 XAF)
- Detailed product page for each item: photo, description, price per kg or per unit, Organic or Premium label
- Interactive seasonality calendar to guide customers toward products available at the right time
- Export page presenting the 6 countries served: Gabon, Congo, DRC, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Central African Republic
- Client references section with logos: Groupe Casino, SODICAM, AYOBA, Pizzeria
- Distribution section with locations of the 3 sales points (Batchenga Ville, Messassi Nyom, delivery)
- WhatsApp integration for direct ordering and customer service
- Mobile-responsive site — optimized for ordering from a smartphone
- Design rooted in the brand identity: natural colors, forest green, on-the-ground visuals
